Q: If I am a speaker, do I need to register?
A: Yes. All conference attendees must register for the conference. Please contact Daa’Iyah Plaskett to receive information needed for speakers to register.

Q: What is the conference registration fee?
A: The two-day conference registration fee is $395. Click here to register.

Q: What does the conference registration fee include?
A: The two-day conference registration September 4 and 5, 2019  (excluding field trip tours) is $395. The fee includes all conference materials, breakfasts, Thursday’s lunch, two evening receptions, access to exhibitors, and all networking opportunities. Q: If I am interested in a scholarship to assist with conference expenses, how can I apply for a scholarship?
A: The scholarship is available for any person attending the conference to apply and the funds available have been provided by local donors and sponsors. You may click here to apply for the scholarship. The deadline to apply is July 19, 2019.

Q: What might the scholarship cover?
A: The scholarship may cover portions of the conference registration, hotel accommodations, and/or travel expenses. Please note that you may receive partial or full support of your ask.

Q: How are the scholarships awarded?
A: There is a committee that will review the applications and will decide on if they can accommodate the requests. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is July 19, 2019. They will notify the recipients by August 2, 2019 with the exact amount of the award.
